-What's it like to be a scribe, is it good? -Well, sir, I think it's not like good or bad. If I had to say what I cherish the most in life, I'd say I cherish people. People who gave me a helping hand when I couldn't manage, when I was alone, and - what's interesting - it's those unexpected meetings that influence our lives. The point is that when you believe in certain values, even supposedly universal ones, sometimes we do not find any understanding, which, in a way, helps us grow. I was lucky, I could say, because I found it, and I thank life! I thank it; life is song, life is dance, life is love! Many people ask me the same thing: but how do you do that, where do you get that happiness from? And I reply that it's simple! It's the appreciation of life! It's exactly the thing that led me to building machines today, and tomorrow, who knows? Perhaps I'll, well, dedicate myself to social work and I'll, well, perhaps, plant, uh... c-carrots. |
